Despite the carbonara sauce being thicker than I would have liked, the food was still easily 5 stars and it was honestly one of the best services I have ever experienced. All the staff were readily available whenever we needed anything and very knowledgeable with the menu and wines. My wine knowledge was very poor but thanks to David who was serving us, now I can appreciate the different flavours to look out for when wine tasting.

A truly divine experience! At Divino Restaurant, every detail is crafted with care and passion. The food was outstanding, each dish full of flavor and beautifully presented, perfectly complemented by an impressive wine selection. A special thank you to Harriot, who served us with such professionalism and kindness—her attention to detail made the evening even more enjoyable. And of course, Daniele, a wonderful host who made us feel right at home with his warm and welcoming presence. A place we’ll definitely return to, again and again.

We had an amazing dinner and service at Divino. Our waiter Christopher was fantastic, he gave amazing recommendations for both food and wine, and he went above and beyond in his service. Our food was excellent and our experience was elevated because of Christopher’s service and the vibey ambiance. I highly recommend visiting Divino!

We returned to Divino’s for a second time for Valentine’s Day and we will definitely be returning. The atmosphere in the restaurant was amazing and all the staff worked like a family together making sure every customer was happy, our waiter David was amazing and very welcoming, he was so informative of the menu and the wine list, and the service was outstanding! Our food was amazing, some of the best Italian food we have had, would definitely recommend if in Edinburgh!

We had an amazing evening, our Server Charles was fantastic as were all the team from arriving to leaving. The food is perfect with the portion sizes balanced really well so you can enjoy having (probably in my case) a good amount to drink without feeling overwhelmed.

Very pleased to have found this restaurant in edinburgh. My partner and I called to book a table on sunday evening, an italian man (which name I can't remember) answered the phone and was very kind and helpful during the phone call and got a table for us even if we called with little notice. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were served first by David, a very attentive, professional and kind server with great knowledge of the menu that gave us the best recommendations both for food and wine. And later on, we were served by Troy who had a great personality and took good care of us for the rest of the night. All the food we had, including the starters, mains and desserts were perfect but definitely the cherry of the cake was the guancia al merlot that was to die for. For the wine we ordered a bottle of the Canace, Diomede, 100% Nero di Troia. Which we never tried before but was spectacular and we absolutely loved. We had a lovely night and were very pleased by the amazing service and food we got. The restaurant was also very cozy and had the perfect atmosphere for the nice and romantic dinner that we were looking for. We are looking forward to come back to try their tasting menu next time and we will be definitely coming back soon!

Absolutely fabulous all around. This was a gem we stumbled upon and turned out to be the best meal we had. Our server David was top notch; friendly and personable. We had a lovely chat with him. Being of Italian descent, I have high standards for Italian food. I highly recommend this gem in old town Edinburgh .

Stumbled into Divino one afternoon for a just a glass of wine, was greeted by the friendliest host, and ended up ordering a flight of white wine on the terrace. The sommelier was quite knowledgeable and shared wonderful stories about each tasting. We loved the experience so much that we decided to come back the next day for dinner. Our waiter, Charles, and the rest of the team made two hours fly by with many recommendations and constant service. The food was incredible, and the wine was even better! Highly recommend the ravioli and a red or white wine flight for added fun!
